Can Republicans and Democrats agree on anything? The data is clear: they already do. Over five years, the Program for Public Consultation at the University of Maryland surveyed more than 80,000 Americans on issues from campaign finance reform to immigration to taxes. They used a unique survey method where respondents received in-depth information about various policy issues, evaluated arguments for and against different policy options, then registered their opinions about each one.
